A Note About Scott

Scott Daily has been around horses most of his life. His love for horses and desire to train them began in 4-H while he was growing up in Inola, Oklahoma. Scott started training horses about 15 years ago.

"I had many different horses that I had to work with in 4-H and during those years. I grew to love helping horses develop and become their best."

To further his knowledge of horses, Scott attended Northeastern A&M College in Miami, OK and received a degree in Equine Management. He also competed for the rodeo Team while in college.

After many years of working with challenging colts and horses, Scott has developed and perfected his own techniques. One method in particular involves laying the horse down while cracking a bullwhip or shooting a gun over the horse. The object of this action is to eliminate fears of loud noise and movement. Scott also feels this helps to build trust between horse and rider. The starting and training techniques he provides allows the horses to progress in a positive and willing manner.

Scott currently lives in Arkansas City, KS with his wife, Brandi and daughter Lakota Sue. He owns and operates Daily Horse Training. He works with over 200 horses a year. He trains horses and holds colt starting clinics for the public. He also provides private instruction for individuals to help them understand, appreciate and work more efficiently with their horse.

To relax, Scott continues to compete in many amateur and professional rodeos across the country.
